Subiaco looking for first Anzac Day win!
Subiaco Lacrosse Club is looking to capture it's first Anzac Day win when it takes on it's cross town rival Wembley in this special game that honours and pays tribute to the men and women that made the ultimate sacrifice for this great country of ours.
Face-off is Tuesday, 25th April at UWA Sports Park at 12.40pm for the U17's followed by the Division 1 game. Wembley have won the previous 3 matches in what is becoming an annual tradition in the WA lacrosse calendar. Subiaco has an exciting new look to it's side this year and has it's best chance of winning the first of many Anzac day clashes! A good balance of youth led by Evan Roberts, Dean Lawrence and Tim Chaney combined with the experience of players Jason Battaglia, Luke Arnold and Jason Magditch will be doing everything it can to bring the trophy back to Rosalie Park for the first time.
We encourage all supporters of Subiaco Lacrosse to get down and show their support for the boys as what is becoming a great day for WA lacrosse.
Go the Lions...
